But in the last two, something strange had happened. The more she tried to cover her wrinkles, the more she saw them. Foundation settled into the creases around her eyes. Concealer accentuated her smile lines instead of hiding them. The more products she applied, the more her age showed on her face.
She had changed foundations four times. She had tried €60 primers. She had watched YouTube tutorials for "mature skin makeup" until 11 PM.
Nothing worked. Because she was trying to solve a skin problem with a makeup product.
