Cash on Delivery Regulations
Among the various payment methods available at checkout, you can select cash on delivery (COD).
To use this service and prevent potential dishonest behaviour from customers, it is important to understand and accept the following conditions:
-
After order confirmation, it is possible to cancel it within 30 minutes of the confirmation message.
-
Once shipped, the order can only be cancelled upon payment of shipping costs (outbound, storage, and return).
-
By choosing cash on delivery, the buyer commits to collecting and paying for the goods. The package cannot be refused under any circumstances.
-
The buyer must provide a correct and complete shipping address.
-
It is mandatory that the buyer's name is indicated on the doorbell. Otherwise, it is necessary to specify the name on the doorbell (e.g.: Lavinia Rossi c/o Michele Verdi). In case of absence or malfunction of the doorbell, our customer service must be promptly informed to notify the courier.
-
The courier is not required to call before delivery.
-
The courier does not make deliveries at pre-arranged times: it is therefore necessary to ensure availability. We do not recommend cash on delivery for those who cannot guarantee their presence.
-
The courier makes two delivery attempts. The buyer must make themselves available by the second attempt. In case of storage due to the recipient's absence, the package will be considered refused.
-
All courier movements are tracked via GPS and verifiable: unfounded complaints ("the courier did not pass by", etc.) are not accepted.
-
Orders are processed within 24/48 business hours. Any delays or errors by the courier, though rare, do not constitute a valid reason to refuse delivery.
-
Failure to deliver due to refusal, incorrect address, or unavailability will result in the charge of shipping costs (outbound, storage, and return) for a minimum amount of €30.00 to the customer.
-
In case of non-payment of the due costs, forced recovery of the amount will be pursued, with additional legal costs and reporting to the competent authorities for fraudulent insolvency (Article 641 c.p.), an offense punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment and a fine of €516.00.
By confirming the order, the buyer declares to have read and fully accepted these conditions.
